Some say think before you speak.
Why not speak before you think?
Randomness surprises out. What about words to live by?
Do you recall life mottos that inspire you?
How about words or characters carry meaning for you?
Think of ‘Just do it.’ How profound is it?
How about the words ‘always’ and ‘never’. Is it a metaphor for something?
Even if we don’t know what it really means, why not sit and think what it carries for us?
When we promise ourselves something, follow a motto that someone lives by, that can really carry us through good and particularly hard times.
Nothing is too simple, too boring. It may even be profound.
How about randomness and leadership?
Angela Maiers calls ‘Tactical Serendipity’ where we find an intersection between structure and spontaneity. So how do we get serendipity do its’ magic?
- Putting some randomness into your routine
- Going out there
- Tribe hopping
- Slow down
- Invite yourself
- Be the inviter
- Light a spark
- Be a ‘Go-Giver’
Let’s think about this.
Isn’t saying ‘No’ to randomness, just like blocking ideas?
If for every ‘No’ we said ‘yes’, but……. how would our oppportunities, conversations and interactions change?
The power of such words as simple as : YES
